Biography:


My name is Alvalene Gadsden Rogers. I have been a public school teacher for 12.5 years. I have certified as a Business Education teacher and certified by NFTE to teach Entrepreneurship. I also have certification in Elementary Education. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a M.Ed in Education. I am presently enrolled in Grand Canyon University where I am studying in the College of Theology trying to obtain a Master's Degree in Youth Ministry. I am hoping to enroll in the Reformed Episcopal Seminary this Spring in the Deaconess Program. It is my pray to be set apart as a Deaconess to aid in the ministry to women and children in the Diocese of the Southeast of the Reformed Episcopal Church. I am presently teaching at Lincoln Middle-High School in McClellanville, South Carolina. This semester I am teaching Entrepreneurship, Digital Multi-Media and Keyboarding/Computer Applications. I serve as the FBLA Adviser, I mentor five students, and I am a part of the Wellness and PBIS committees. Next year, I will serve as the Activities Director for the school.
